Peggy Fiala M.Ed., LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor with over forty years of experience as a teacher, school administrator, school counselor and a private practice clinician. I have approached all of these roles with a strong sense of compassion and empathy, knowing that in order to grow and move forward humans need a safe place to express themselves and tools to take care of themselves.
Today’s world is filled with challenges that can often feel overwhelming. Sometimes we just need some time and space to get unstuck, to clarify our values, and access the tools to keep us focused on self-care. I challenge my clients to ask - How will I feed my heart, body, mind, and soul?
I work with adults, parents, elementary and middle school-aged children, as well as school personnel. I use a variety of approaches including solution focused, strength-based counseling. I incorporate mindfulness practices whenever appropriate.
I look forward to speaking with you.
Warmly,
Peggy
